Hyderabad: On Monday morning Deputy Chief Minister (Revenue) Mohammed Mahmood Ali convened a meeting of all departments to oversee the arrangements being made keeping in view of the visit of Shaikh Saleh bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim, Al-e-Talib Imam-o-Khatib Masjid-e-Haram (Macca Mukarrama), Saudi Arabia to inaugurate the Grand Masjid, followed by religious meeting on the campus of Jamia Islamia Darul Uloom, Hyderabad on April 6. On this day, more than one lakh people are expected to take part in the event.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister said Imam-o-Khatib Masjid-e-Haram’s visit will be treated as Special State Guest and all necessary protocols will be observed during his presence in the city. And for the subsequent event of inauguration of the Grand Mosque followed by religious meeting, all necessary support and arrangements for smooth completion of the event will be provided the by State government. On this occasion, heads of concerned departments, including Cyberabad Police, GHMC, TS-Transco, HMWSSB, Health and key committee members of Jamia Islamia Darul Uloom, Hyderabad were present. (NSS)
