Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, who gave us two lovely films SOCHA NA THA & JAB WE MET in the past, has a very unique style of presenting his product. His Abhay Deol starrer SOCHA NA THA & Shahid-Kareena starrer JAB WE MET didn’t carry any novel subject, instead they were plain-Jane love stories nonetheless told in a pragmatic way. Similarly his newest film LOVE AAJ KAL’s concept is not new to ears, but the director’s approach towards it is what makes it more interesting.
Imtiaz is well acquainted with the pulse of today’s youth. He perfectly knows where to strike a chord with the audience. Though all the three films of his has a different tale to talk about, but the filmmaker’s funda (message) is common & clear everywhere. There’s nothing like perfect couple, it’s the chemistry & sense of freedom in a relationship which ultimately works for a lovestory to bloom.
