Mumbai, July 26: Imran Khan’s latest release is Soham Shah’s promising action-thriller LUCK, which comes after a setback in his last outing in form of Sanjay ‘Dhoom’ Gadhvi’s action thriller, KIDNAP, which (like LUCK) also (co-incidentally) starred Sanjay Dutt in a very important role.
However, despite his fetish for action and thrillers, the future superstar with the chocolate boyish charm loves romantic films and can you guess his dream role? Well, it is not Amitabh Bachchans dream role in ZANJEER or even Dilip Kumar’s iconic portrayal of a village bumpkin-turned-dacoit in GANGA JAMUNA nor is it SRK’s DDLJ act! So which roles does Imran aspire to do?
Imran Khan’s secret affair
Surprisingly, it is Shahid’s lovable subdued lover boy act in Imtiaz Ali’s super hit JAB WE MET. Yes, Imran unhesitatingly stated that he would have loved to do Shahid’s role in JWM, as he found it very natural and highly interesting and very identifiable. Another role that Imran wishes to do is his own uncle’s (Aamir Khan) uber-cool act in Farhan Akhtar’s DIL CHAHTA HAI.
Certainly, there is no doubt that with the kind of talent that Imran has, he would have indeed done justice to both the roles.
