Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday embarked on a day-long visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the invitation of Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Khan was being accompanied by ministers of foreign affairs, finance, petroleum, power and adviser to the Prime Minister on commerce, reports Xinhua news agency.
“Matters of bilateral, regional and global interest will be discussed in the meeting between the Prime Minister and the Crown Prince,” Khan’s office said in a statement.
He will also meet Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
This is Khan’s second visit to the UAE. The earlier one was on September 19.
