Implementation of RTE act soon in A.P.

Govt. of Maharashtra has started online admissions to ensure 25% admissions of poor students in reputed educational institutions. On the same lines, Govt. of A.P. will also take suitable steps to implement Right to Education Act very soon. It is observed that poor students find it difficult to get admissions in reputed schools. If RTE is implemented, they will get this opportunity. There are many reputed schools in Hyderabad and Secunderabad wherein poor students cannot think of getting admission.

With the successful efforts of Dr. Faizan Azizi, member of National Monitoring committee on RTE played an important role in ensuring 25% admissions of poor students of Maharashtra in reputed private schools. He also wrote letters to P.M., and Minister of HRD inviting their attention to make online registration of poor students in reputed schools of Maharashtra.

After his letter, Govt. of Maharashtra issued orders for online admissions in all the schools.

Dr. Faizan Azizi told that the struggle to create awareness about RTE is yielding better results. He told that following the example of Maharashtra Govt. arrangements would be made to implement RTE act in A.P. State also.
