Impact of Siasat news: Waqf Board spurs into action to stop construction of temple

With the publication of report in Siasat daily on July 25, regarding nefarious attempt to construct temple at graveyard and dargah land located in the premises of Osmania General Hospital, the State Waqf Board spurred into action. Waqf Board Chairman Maulana Khusro Pasha sent Waqf board team to conduct detailed inspection of the place. Waqf task force inspector Abdul Quddoos, Waqf inspector circle no 2, auditor Ahmed Pasha and the team members conducted detailed inspection of graveyard, dargah Hazrat Sadat Baba and the platform constructed under the historical tamarind tree which saved the life of 150 persons at the time of Moosi River Flood situated adjacent to the old gate of hospital.

Infact the tree and the platform are also present on the 2000 acre land endowed under dargah. But sadly some miscreants are repeatedly trying to transform the graveyard into a temple. Waqf Board team said that a detailed report will be submitted to CEO Waqf Board and Waqf Board chairman Maulana Khusro Pasha and complaint will be lodged against the miscreants under the direct supervision of CEO Waqf Board.
