Siasat daily had brought to fore the historical Fatehullah Baig Masjid, located at Laladarwaza, in its special report only yesterday, which is being tried to hide from view by unscrupulous elements.
It must be recalled that there was 7 acre land under Masjid Fatehullah Baig. As soon as the report on precariousness of the graves of Muslim clerics inside mosque premises, was published the officials of the Waqf board and organizations busy in protection of Waqf properties, came into action. Consequently, the Waqf board chairman Maulana Syed Shah Afzal Biabani better known Khusro Pasha immediately took note of the report and mobilized the officials of Waqf Board Task Force. Osman Alhajari president Deccan Waqf Protection Society and Ahmed Shareef president Secular Society Social Work also came into action.
Waqf board chairman Maulana Khusro Pasha sent inspector Waqf Board Task Force Abdul Quddoos along with his team to inspect uninhabited mosque. On the other side Osman Alhajari, Maqbool Alhajari, Mohammad Iqbal, Khalid Hajari, Mohammad Ashraf, Baber Khan and others arrived at the place for detailed inspection.
Local non-Muslim residents assured their complete support if the mosque is renovated by the Muslim youth.
