Locals residing near Tigalkunta to Gudi ka dawakhana road heaved a sigh of relief when the road got a facelift after remaining battered for so long. Siasat daily had published a detailed report regarding the above said road on May 28. Consequently the concerned department and contractor came into action and ensured facelift of the battered road.
The locals thanked Siasat daily and hoped that the public issues will be brought to the notice of concerned authorities in future too.
It is said that the above mentioned road was dug several times on short intervals; sometimes for laying drainage line and sometime for laying water pipeline.
Raised manholes and potholed road was a nuisance for commuters. There was high risk of accidents on the road. Thanks to Siasat’s reporting now the residents have got relief from all such problems.
