Kanpur, March 08:Kanpur Police today claimed to have busted a Indian Made Foreign Liquor gang with the arrest of four persons who allegedly used to manufacture and sell spurious liquor.
On a tip off, Special Operation Group of Kanpur police and Excise team raided a house in Lajpat Nagar area here last night and arrested four persons identified as Atul, Anil and Ajay (all brothers) and Kuldeep.
The police team also seized illegal liquor worth about Rs one lakh, empty liquor bottles and a packaging machine. Further investigations are on in the matter, they said.
