MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Ileana D’Cruz, in a series of tweets, has blasted a male fan for misbehaving with her when she was on her way to a fashion event.
The 29-year-old star said she may be a “public figure” but that does not give anyone the right to trouble her.
The Mubarakan actress took to micro-blogging site Twitter and tweeted, “It’s a pretty shitty world we live in. I’m a public figure. I understand that I don’t have the luxury of a private & an anonymous life,” she tweeted.

In another tweet she wrote, “But that doesn’t give any man the right to misbehave with me. Don’t confuse “fan antics” with that. I am a WOMAN at the end of the day.”

Ileana did not talk about the incident that led to the tweet but in an interview to a Mumbai-based newspaper the actor revealed that fans started banging against the window of her car when she was stuck in traffic while on her way to a fashion event.

Ileana was last seen in Mubarakan and her next big screen outing is Milan Luthria’s heist bollywood drama, Baadshaho, staring Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta. The movie is set to hit the screens on September 1.
