A thief stole a laptop and wrote an apology note to the owner he stole it from. A Twitter user named Stevie Valentine shared a picture of the email that his roommate received from the thief who stole his laptop.
The thief not only apologised extensively for stealing the laptop, he even went further and offered to forward any assignments or university work or any other important document that the student might have on the laptop.

The note reads “I am very very sorry for taking your laptop I am extremely poor and needed the money,” read the unsigned email. “I left your phone and wallet so I hope that slightly makes up for something.
Since the user posted the note online it already got over 60,000 retweets and over 1.9 lakh ‘likes’, it has been widely shared with mixed reactions. The thief’s generous offer has managed to gain the sympathy of some people and the amusement of others.
