A huge quantity of illicit country liquor was seized at Majuli island in Assam late last night.
A person, Utpal Dutta, was arrested, the police said.
He was nabbed by a special team of police near the Kamalabari satra (monastery) on the island.
He was planning to smuggle the liquor from Majuli to Jorhat town.
