Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today declared that his government would regularize illegal structures and buildings in all municipalities across the State.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said the State government has taken this decision to clear the pending regularization of these buildings. They are now addressing hereditary problems left over the previous governments. He also disclosed that Rs 200 crore worth works were sanctioned during Swatch Telangana drive attended by himself and Governor ESL Narasimhan.
The Chief Minister reiterated that nominated posts in Telangana State will be filled soon. He maintained that the Chairmen posts of market committees, temples and others will be filled without further delay. Stating that Muslim Minorities would get 12 per cent of reservations as promised, KCR alleged the previous governments had ignored the Minorities’ welfare and there is need to lend a helping hand to them to be in the mainstream.
Attributing the pathetic condition of the RTC to the negligence of the previous governments, he said efforts were on to put it on right path to achieve growth gradually. KG-to-PG free education will be implemented from next academic year after consulting subject experts, intellectuals, professors and promote English in a big way to grab future needs. He said the government was committed to offer free intensive education and vowed to protect lives of people in villages by encouraging cheap liquor to replace illicit and spurious liquor in the State despite Opposition parties crying foul, he said.
“We urged the Centre on tax devolution to Telangana and implementation of AP Reorganisation Act to get Telangana its rightful share. The TRS Government has written some 50 letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the State’s issues of power, irrigation projects and others, he said. He also said they have ordered for 25000 autos meant for garbage removal under GHMC, he added. (NSS)
