Illegal possessisons on Wakf properties intolerable: Zahid Ali Khan

(Siasat News) Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor Siasat after visiting the Dargah Hzt. Sadullah Hussaini Rh., and Madina Masjid Alamgiri, at Nakenampura warned the Govt., that the Muslims of the city won’t tolerate illegal possessions on Wakf properties any more. MR. Laal Jaan Basha, Vice President of TDP and EX – MP of Rajya Sabha also visited the mosque and expressed his anxiety about illegal possessions of Waqf properties of this Dargah and lands surrounding it.

Mr. Zahid Ali Khan is also the Chief Patron of Deccan Wakf Protection Society. In this Dargah area, the land grabbers are trying to usurp the land around it. In Survey number 31, of this area there were 56 acres of Wakf land which has mostly been occupied by land grabbers. Only 3 acres of land is now left out. Even this land is being grabbed by illegal occupants. Govt. is also trying to build N.G.O’s colony on this land.

Mr. Lal Jan Basha, former M.P. also offered Asar prayer along with Mr. Zahid Ali Khan. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan said that there are five mosques which have been kept closed. If Muslims try to open them, there will be Law and order problem. It is therefore, necessary for the Govt. to cooperate with the Muslims. He impressed the Govt. and Wakf Board upon the need to protect Wakf properties and to restore possessions by dislodging illegal occupants.

Present on this occasion were Mr. Osman Bin Mohammed Al-Hajiri, Mr. Ali Bin Sayed Alkatmi, Mr. Muneeruddin Mujahid, Mr. M.A. Salam, Mr. Mohammed Yousuf, Mr. E.T. Narasimha, Mr. S.A. Mannan, Mr. Mohammed Afzal, Mr. Maqbool Al-Hajiri, Mr. Ghiyas Tawakkali, Mr. Mohammed Bin Abdur Rahman Al-Hajiri, Mr. Khalid Al-Hajiri, Abad Bin Osman Al-Hajiri and others, Local residents represented to Mr. Zahid Ali Khan about the land grabbers’ activities in the area. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan assured that he would represent the matter to the Govt. authorities.
