Special Officer of Wakf Board, Mr. Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal, IPS issued a list of Illegal possessions on Wakf properties in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts and said that action would be taken against such cases.
The list includes 488 acres of Wakf land under Dargah Meer Mahmood in Attapur, 384 acres in Maula Ali. 232 acres of Imam Zamin, Thirulgherry, 400 acres in Uppal, Ghatkesar, 1200 acres in Warmadipally, Saroornagar Mandal, 490 acres of Dargah Saif Nawaz Jung situated at Warmadipally , Saroornagar Mandal. 228 acres of Dargah Shahraju Husaini in Saroornagar, 528 acres in Maheshwaram, 442 acres of Dargah Hazrath Babu Sharuddin, etc.
Mr. Iqbal was talking to Newsmen in his office yesterday. He also told this getting the details of various other wakf properties. He is also reviewing the cases pending in High Court and Supreme Court. He told that if all these illegal possessions are restored, Muslims don’t have to stretch their hands for any financial help.
