Mr. Osmain Bin Mohammed Al-Hajiri said that Masjid Qutub Shahi of Goverdhan Bagh at Gudi Malkapur was uninhabited. It was turned into a garbage dumping place due to the carelessness of the local inhabitants.
27th Nov 2007 was the happiest day when Osmab Bin Al-Hajiri and his companions had entered the mosque premises with the permission of the Wakf Board for cleaning the garbage. The Wakf land was illegally possessed by the persons who had the support of the so-called political leaders. Mr. Osman and his fellow comrades were representing Wakf Board, Municipality and Police departments. The southern portion of the mosque was illegally occupied by former corporator Mr. Krishna Rao who was trying to construct his house.
Mr. Osman had stopped this work. At last, Mr. Krishna Rao voluntarily accepted to vacate the land possessed by him. Mr. Osman requested the Chairman of Wakf Board to send the surveyor to measure the Wakf land. The mosque is now under the possession of the Muslims.
