The family of Khurshid Jahi Paigah Estate demanded the Govt. to institute a commission to enquire into the illegal possessions made by one Dr. P. Sanjiv Prasad who has usurped the valuable property of Khurshid Jahi Paigah Estate in connivance with the officials of revenue Department.
Mr. Hameedunnisa Begum, Nawab Moizuddin Khan and other members of the Paigah family addressed a press conference yesterday and told that there are 900 members of this family. Most of them are forced to lead a miserable life because of not getting the benefits of this property. They told that Dr. Prasad has illegally possessed the properties of Paigah Estate by fabricating the forged documents. He is selling these properties but Govt. and Govt. departments are shutting their eyes. He has the backing of every great politician and corrupt officials. They further told that Dr. Prasad is claiming to posses the power of Attorney. He is claiming to posses 80% of Paigah property as his own. He claims that his company Gold Stone Infratech had entered into agreements with Cyrus Investments and Cyrus Investments has entered into agreements with H.E.H.The Nizam’s General Power of Attorney. Miss Hameedunnisa Begum told that the Nizam of Hydearabad, Mir Osman Ali Khan died on 24th February 1967 and five days before his death his condition had become critical but Dr. Prasad claims that the transaction of these properties were made a day before his death. The registration of these properties was made on 17th March 1967. This itself shows that these documents were prepared after the death of Nizam. A.P.High Court and Supreme Court of India accepted the claims of the Paigah Family. Despite this he is making the matters complicated and by taking advantage of the legal respite, Dr. Prasad is selling this valuable properties. She told that he is filling cases on behalf of various companies and taking advantage of it. He has the backing of the Departments of Police and Revenue. The staff of these companies are allowed to enter these controversial properties. They has also been given permission for illegal constructions on these properties. When a complaint is made by the members of the Paigah Family, police does not take any action and refuse to entertain the complaint saying that it is a matter falling under the Jurisdiction of the Civil Court and hence police cannot interfere into these matters. They are given police protection. They are given even the vehicles of the office of the collector for use. She asked why can’t Govt. investigate about the reality of his companies. Dr. Prasad claims that he had already bought 80% of the properties. Where did he get so much money to buy these properties?. She applied to the C.M. of A.P. Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy to investigate the irregularities of Dr. Prasad and his fake companies through CBI or institute commission so that the 900 members of Paigah Family could get justice who are leading a very miserable life due to not getting their legitimate rights.
