Muslim Jung Pul was constructed during VI Nizam Mir Mahboob Ali Khan’s period in 1901. A major portion of the historical Muslim Jung Pul has been illegally occupied. A particular community has already occupied Purana Pul and now its turn for Muslim Jung Pul. Nearly 95 shops have been set up on Purana Pul and recently people have started setting up huts under Muslim Jung Pul. These huts will soon be converted into concrete houses. By paying some bribe to the departments the occupants will get municipal number, ration card, Aadhaar card and even the electricity meter. Since illegal occupation is at the initial state concerned authorities can nip illegal occupation in the bud, by coming into action immediately, otherwise the land will go completely in the hands of illegal occupants.
