Waqf Board has lodged a complaint in Kulsoompura police station to take action against illegal occupants of Toli Masjid Waqf land in Karwan. Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board in a written complaint to Station House Officer Kulsoompura, appealed to take action against illegal occupants under section 52/A of the Waqf Act.
It is stated in the complaint that Task Force officer, surveyor and inspector auditor Waqf after inspecting the Waqf land have presented a report which states that a private institution has not only occupied the land but has also set up a board regarding launch of a venture. The complaint further stated that the land of Toli Masjid Karwan is a Waqf land and one Shaikh Hameed has grabbed nearly 1 acre land and has set up board of his venture violating court orders, although the Waqf tribunal and High Court had ordered to maintain status quo.
