Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board sent separate letters to Commissioner Police Hyderabad, Collector Hyderabad and Commissioner Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and requested to take measures for the protection of Waqf land of Toli Masjid Karwan.
In the letter sent to Commissioner Police, Chief Executive Officer stated that Toli Masjid Karwan is a Waqf Property which is recorded in the gazette of 1985. 27 acre 30 gunta land is under the masjid. He complained that some people are undertaking illegal and unauthorised construction on Waqf land which tantamount to desecration of masjid.
Chief executive officer appealed to take immediate action and stall illegal construction on the Waqf land.
