Hyderabad: Telangana Waqf Board has decided to move to the court in connection with protection of Waqf property of Hazrat Koh-e-Maula Ali. Illegal construction on Maula Ali Waqf land is continued, despite High Court orders.
Following representation by Shia Community in this connection, Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board Mohammed Asadullah directed Waqf Board advocate to file application to become party to the case pending in High Court so that valuable Waqf property could be protected.
Mir Raza Ali Razvi and his friends have been struggling for the protection of Waqf land for long. On December 28, 2016, High Court justice P Naveen Rao had directed to stall the constructions till next orders despite that construction is still continued. Raza Ali Razvi again knocked the door of High Court and decided to become party in the case. According to sources 3 acre 20 guntas of land is present under Hazrat Koh-e-Maula Ali located at Malkajgiri, Rangareddy district. The land is being sold by changing the survey number in connivance with concerned mutavalli and several buildings have been constructed on the land.
