Hyderabad, November 4: The activities of Hindu organizations are in full swing these days in the city outskirts. As the Eid-ul-Azha is nearing the activities to target cattle are on the rise. Ban has been imposed on sacrificing cattle the day before in Chief Minister’s home town Chittoor district. In another incident which occurred at Vanasthalipuram police station limits at the city outskirts, members of Hindu organizations stopped two vehicles shifting cattle and handed over the driver to police after severely assaulting him.
Meanwhile Mahmood and Amanullah who were injured in the attack made by miscreants told that 6 to 18 persons who were riding bicycles chased them and stopped their vehicles and called 60 to 70 persons through mobile phones. Following which they all abused them and assaulted them severely later they were remanded to police custody.
The miscreants also threatened to kill them while the police remained mute through all these. According to reliable sources one of the vehicles which stopped them was a TATA Qualis on which GHMC was scribed on a red stripe on number plate.
It has been found that the people through whom the cattle are purchased, themselves are informing miscreants and Hindu organizations that the cattle are being shifted through so and so road. Later some miscreants on the pretext of shifting them to gaoshala are reselling the cattle to the same cattle owner at high rates.
