Illegal activities of Hindu outfits in full swing before Bakrid

The activities of Hindu organizations are in full swing these days in the city outskirts. As the Eid-ul-Azha is nearing the activities to target cattle are on the rise.

Number of Hindu organizations members stopped a vehicles of cattles on Rajendra nagar road near attapur at the city outskirts,shifting cattle and handed over the driver to police after severely assaulting him.

Last week, some activists of Govraksha Samithi stop nine vehicles near Toopran and handed over 430 animals to police and shifted them to Bairamguda. In Lingampally also animals were confiscated. In Ibrahimpatnam, 500 animals were shifted to Gowshala.

In the name of Gow Rakhsha, they are also confiscating bullocks and calves whereas under the prohibition of slaughter act is applicable only in respect of cows. There is no ban on transporting buffalos, bullocks and calves. They are also seizing the vehicles and pressurizing the police authorities to register cases against the lorry drivers and the transporters of animals.
