Ill health drives three persons to suicide

In separate cases, three persons, including a housewife, committed suicide allegedly due to ill-health.

In the first case, 20-year-old Shaheda Begum of Bada Bazar committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling on Thursday night. According to Golconda police, Shaheda got married to Md Imran about three years ago. A few days she went to her brother’s house in the same locality due to ill-health and took the extreme step at his residence.

In another case, T Narsappa, 55, died of burn injuries which he suffered after setting himself ablaze. He took the extreme step at his residence in Chinnapur on November 24 and died at the Gandhi Hospital on Thursday night, according to Yalal police.

In a similar incident, 29-year-old Mahesh committed suicide by hanging at his residence in Ambedkar Nagar on Friday morning. According to Chikkadpally police, Mahesh, a printing press worker, was under depression and suffering from ill-health after his wife left him a few days ago. (INN)
