Indo-Kuwait Friendship Society has and applauded CBSE for allowing Class XII (plus two) students currently appearing for the board exams to not only get a copy of their evaluated answer sheets, but also seek re-evaluation instead of just a recount of the marks. The Central Board of Secondary Education now will allow Class XII students currently appearing for the board exams to not only get a copy of their evaluated answer According to CBSE sources, the exam committee has approved the move.
IKFS President Dr. Ghalib Al-Mashoor, who met Vineet Joshi, CBSE Chairman during his first visit to Kuwait during January, 2013, congratulated for his brave reforms and welcomed the initiative taken by CBSE. IKFS has requested to continue the provision of verification of marks/grades and obtaining photocopy of the evaluated answer-sheets and also to outline detailed modalities of the initiatives before the declaration of the results on the official website as well as to facilitate for downloading from the CBSE board’s websites and to facilitate to dispatch directly to student’s or parents’ email. IKFS Vice President Advocate Sayid Mohamed Nizar has appealed CBSE to allow ARABIC as a major language and to include re-evaluation of Arabic language in future and other subjects also. Presently the allotments for re-evaluations are for English, Hindi, physics, chemistry, mathematics, political science and economics only.
