New Delhi, November 12: India International Trade Fair 2009 (IITF 2009) will be held at Pragati Maidan in national capital from Nov 14 to 27. New Delhi will be the partner state in this year’s IITF.
Education, health, tourism and hospitality sector will feature in this year’s trade fair.
IITF 2009 is the reliable platform for exchange of trade and business.
The 2010 Commonwealth Games, which the city will host, and the Services and the hospitality sector, for which the capital has become well-known, will dominate the Delhi Pavilion’s theme this year, Chetan Sanghi, Managing Director of Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) said.
Interiors of the remodelled Delhi pavilion will cover an area of 1,422 square metres. Health, education, tourism and hospitality sectors will also figure prominently in the pavilion.
One side of the pavilion will be dedicated to the Commonwealth Games, which will be the biggest sporting event to be hosted by India.
India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2009 offers a reliable platform for initiation of trade exchanges, technology transfers, joint venture opportunities, identification of agents and distributors. IITF provides an insight into the impact of digital revolution, especially e-governance in different States/ Union Territories with its spin-offs covering virtually every section of the population. These Pavilions offer unique show window to a broad product spectrum ranging from goods having hi-tech orientation with traditional character and appeal. The 29th India International Trade Fair will be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India from 14th – 27th November, 2009.
