NEW DELHI: Reports of Indian Institute of Technology-Banaras Hindu University offering crash course to become a certified ‘Aadarsh Bahu’ has been floating since the morning of 5th September.
The institute released a statement denying rumor of introducing course/training programme entitled “Daughter’s Pride – Beti Meri Abhiman” or an “Adarsh Bahu” or an ideal daughter-in-law.
Terming reports “misleading”, the Registrar of the Institute, SP Mathur, said IIT-BHU is not offering any such training or course on such topic.
As per reports published in Indian Express, some reports said the institute in alliance with a Varanasi-based start-up, Young Skilled India is launching a three-month special crash course meant to train potential brides as ideal daughters-in-law.
The specially designed crash course aims to develop their interpersonal skills and learn good things which will surely help them to deal with the new family members.
