Rajhasthan, October 19: An 18-years-old boy was arrested for raping a minor girl in Kota district of Rajasthan on Monday.
The incident took place in Indira Gandhi Nagar locality of the city late Sunday night, the police said.
Accused Mohammad Sagir, resident of Sitamarhi district of Bihar, was preparing for IIT entrance examinations in Kota, the sources said.
He had been living in a rental room since four months and committed rape with his house owner’s 8 years old daughter when there was no one in the house late Sunday, the police added.
The victim’s father had registered a case under the CrPC section 376 in Vigyan Nagar police station.
The medical report confirmed the rape, the police said.
The police arrested the miscreant and the investigation is going on.
