According to Mr. Khalid Sayeed, Director of Jamaat-e-Islami, Warangal accommodation arrangements for seven thousand candidates appearing for IIT and JEE Entrance Tests have been made in various Function Halls, Mosques, Madrasas and Schools.
The candidates are requested to register their names well in advance for making the arrangements for their stay in Warangal. Jamaat-e-Islami workers would be available at bus stands and railway stations for the guidance of the students. It may be mentioned that IIT and JEE tests are being held at Warangal on 7th April for which 45,752 students enrolled. Arrangements have been made for the tests in 61 centres. Many students from Hyderabad and other districts of Telangana area are taking these tests. If the number of parents and guardians accompanied by these students is taken into account, it exceeds one lakh persons.
Superintendent of police of the district is busy in making traffic arrangements. Traffic would be diverted to other roots a day before these tests. It may be mentioned that last year, the students had to face a lot of inconvenience.
Mr. Muthias Reddy, District Coordinator is making all the arrangements for conducting these tests smoothly.
