New Delhi: A special condolence meeting was held at India Islamic Cultural Centre in remembrance of the martyrs killed in terror attack in Pulwama.
Speaking on the occasion, President Sirajuddin Quraishi said the country is in grief and every citizen is paying homage to the Jawans killed in the attack. He said India Islamic Cultural Centre (IICC) is with the families of the martyrs in this hour of grief. He added we want to assure the government that we are with it in every step it would take to deal with the situation.
2-minute silence was observed on the occasion.
IICC vice president SM Khan, Chairman Settlement Commission Abrar Ahmed, retd IPS Qamer Ahmed, OSD Manipur governor Badruddin Khan, Ajay Chaudhry (IPS) and other addressed on the occasion.
More than 300 dignitaries attended the meeting.
