New Delhi: The need for a think tank of the community was always felt. Hence it has been announced to make the India Islamic Cultural Centre a big platform for Muslim Think Tank.
While announcing hs support to the presidential candidate of IICC Arif Mohammed Khan, the former Union Minister of the Government of India and senior advocate of Supreme Court Salman Khurshid said it is our responsibility to protect major institutions of Muslim community. He announced this while addressing a press conference here at the board room of Constitution Club.
Former MP Mohammad Adeeb, member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board Kamal Farooqui, former member of OBC commission Dr Shakil uz Zaman Ansari, former member of Board of trustee of IICC Anees Durrani and others addressed the press conference along with Salman Khurshid. The panel announced its support to Arif Mohammad Khan. They said we should keep in mind the purpose behind establishment of the institution and whether the institution is fulfilling its purpose or not.
