Job Description:
In addition to accountabilities listed above in Job Purpose: Ensures the following key IGM activities are performed within the Regional TechOps/QA IT Function: Information inventory management within the Regional TechOps/QA IT Function Completion of HLCCDs in IT projects within the Regional TechOps/QA IT Function Guidance and support in the remediation after assessments, audits or other activities that identified a control gap IGM exception management process within the Regional TechOps/QA IT Function (i.e. being responsible for approving exceptions at the level of the Regional TechOps/QA IT Function) Operational IGM guidance towards Regional TechOps/QA IT teams Risk management process within the Regional TechOps/QA IT Function Support or coordination in the roll-out of Global IGM efforts Facilitation and collaboration with other IGM teams that have a checker role Ensure Quality oversight and drive continuous improvement of the quality system within the Regional TechOps/QA IT Function to meet and sustain compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements. Lead and consult all IGM Managers in the region Ensure Regional TechOps/QA IT is in an audit-ready Drive simplification and efficiency initiatives for compliance processes Ensure audits and inspections are provided adequate preparation and support Liaise between the IT and local/functional compliance, audit, legal, data privacy, HSE and QA as required Track and report relevant risks, audit/remediation actions and progress on a monthly basis to Regional TechOps/QA IT Leadership and Global TechOps/QA IT IGM Systematically supports implementation of the Novartis IGM Policy Framework and the IT Quality processes within the Regional TechOps/QA IT Function. . Validates that all the activities necessary to design, develop, deploy, operate and retire IT services within the Regional TechOps/QA IT Function satisfy IGM and IT Quality requirements. Responsible for managing information risks (threats, vulnerabilities, impact). This includes assessing threats to and vulnerabilities of information (and information systems) and evaluating how vulnerable information is to threats.

Experienced IT Leader or Information Risk Manager Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage large geographically and/or functionally dispersed teams. Experience in reporting to and communicating with senior management (with and without IT background, with and without in depth risk management background) on information risk topics. Good understanding and knowledge of regulated industries, preferably pharmaceutical industry. Desired Experience with financial/budget management, scheduling and resource management. Experience of sourcing IT services, working closely with vendors and making full use of their capabilities. Experience in initiating and managing cross-functional projects that will affect other departments and functions. Experience with SOX IT compliance requirements. Experience with GxP / CSV / e-compliance requirements
