Hyderabad, August 13: Muslim prisoners who observe fasting during Ramazan do not get adequate facilities. In order to join them, Siasat organized Iftaar Party in Chanchalguda Jail yesterday.
Out of 200 Muslim prisoners, 120 observe fasting. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor, Siasat and Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor, Siasat along with the jail officials, joined the Iftaar Party held in jail. Mr. Osman bin Mohammed Al Hajiri, President, Deccan Wakf Society led the Maghrib prayer. Mr. Keshav Naidu, Superintendent, Mr. D.S.Reddy, Dy. Superintendent and Mr. Shaik aslam, Jailor also attended the Iftaar Party.
Addressing the prisoners, Mr. Zahid ali Khan said that this Iftaar Party will cast a positive effect on the prisoners and there will be a change in their life.
