Kareemnagar, August 7: As soon as the Holy month of Ramadan arrives, Muslims pay more attention towards showing off, gaining political mileage or serving varieties of delicacies at iftar parties in the name of national integrity, instead of helping poor, needy and orphans, providing financial help to poor and middle class unmarried girls for getting married, providing shelter to the homeless, providing educational facilities to the promising Muslim children, arranging food for poor families,.
If this money is spend on the above said noble causes, though one may not get fame but it will serve as provisions for the Hereafter. These views were expressed by Mualana Mufti Mohammad Nadeemuddin Siddiqui, spokesman Ahlesunnat wal jama’at addressing before the Khutba on Friday.
Maulana stressed that today Muslims are spending excessive money on worldly interests and works related to fame, instead of gaining Allah’s pleasure. He exhorted Muslims not to waste their good deed of enduring hunger and thirst and their prayers by arranging iftar parties for political motives, name and fame.
