Ghazipur: BJP MP from Bahraich, Savitribai Phule who frequently lands the party into trouble with her controversial remark has once again demanded the construction of Buddha temple in Ayodhya. She said Buddha temple, not Ram temple should be constructed in Ayodhya. And it will be possible only when Bahujan Samaj and backward classes would show their power, she said.
According to Inquilab, addressing ‘Bhim Charcha Maha Utsav’ in Seelampur, in Mohammedabad, Savitribai Phule said Ram temple issue is raised when elections are round the corner. She said if Bhagwan had power, the temple would have been constructed by now.
BJP MP claimed that remains of Lord Buddha were recovered during excavation at the disputed site, hence she demanded that the statue of Lord Buddha should be installed at the disputed site in Ayodhya.
