Srinagar, February 19: Kashmir’s largest militant group Hizbul Mujahideen’s Commander Riyaz Naikoo threatened to take stern action against non-local labourers in Kashmir if any untoward thing happens to Kashmiris outside the valley.
The threat comes in the wake of incidents of violence against Kashmiris in some parts of the country after a CRPF convoy in Pulwama was attacked in which 49 CRPF personnel died.
He said that ‘oppression must end’. In un-verified audio purported to be of Naikoo is going viral on social media websites in which he stated that “Remember if anything happens to any Kashmiri outside we will kill the non-local labourers in the valley, they will return dead.”
In the audio, he is heard saying “You are mourning your dead soldiers, why do they come to Kashmir? They do not come to play a cricket match here. Sometimes they kill us sometimes we kill them.” He said that bloodshed will continue until the Kashmir issue is not resolved.
He further states that “While India is beating drums of war they should understand that those politicians who cry for war do not send their children to join Army and forces.”
Naikoo is also heard praising Adil Ahmad Dar who attacked the CRPF convoy in which 49 CRPF personnel were killed when their convoy was targeted in Pulwama district on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.
He is also heard saying. “ India is habitual of blaming Pakistan and ISI over everything even if an egg breaks in India, they cry that it’s ISI ki Chaal.”
In the deadliest terror attack on security forces in Kashmir, 49 CRPF personnel were killed when their convoy was targeted in Pulwama district on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway. Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has claimed responsibility for the attack.
In the wake of the ghastly terror attack in Pulwama, there have been reports of Kashmiris living in different parts of the country are being subject to harassment.
