The former Prof of Vishweshwar Rao himself has to say that nearly 400 acres out of 1600 acres of land of Osmania University has been encroached upon. Temples have been constructed on 33 acre of land and the land has been presented as temple land. Presently 15 temples have been illegally constructed at Osmania University. A 130 year old Jama Masjid Saaduddin sahib, which is famous as old dairy form masjid has 10 acre 15 guntas of land under it, but communal elements particularly anti-Muslim politicians occupied the valuable land. According to Syed Khalid Shah, the mutavali of the masjid, miscreants had placed an idol on the land of historical and old masjid on Wednesday night. He informed the police which spurt into action and removed the idol. Syed Khalid Shah has to say that had the police not acted in time, law and order problem would have been evolved. He told that the present vice chancellor S Satyanarayana is constantly intervening into the matter. He is not allowing any construction work at the masjid though the masjid is outside university limits.
