Idea launches 3G Smart phones

Idea Cellular, one of the leading mobile networking companies today launched two variants of mobile pones in five inches 3G Ultra 2 and ID models into Andhra Pradesh market.
During a press conference Chief Operating Officer B Ramakrishna and Chief Marketing Officer Sashi Shankar stated that their market share rose to 10 per cent in the state with 85 per cent of coverage in towns. While Ultra II is aimed at young and savvy consumers, idea id 1000, has latest android, Jellybean 4.2 OS with fast download speed. Our subscribers base rose to 6 million from 3 million in 3G applications till date, they calimed. This is a significant development in the mobile world adopting latest technologies, they said. We are focusing on increasing our customer base in rural pockets, they said. Right now Idea has 130 million customers and will be increased from time to time, they claimed. With five inches screen gives enhanced video and gaming experience the students can avail the smart phones featuring wifi, android Jelly Bean, camera, internet, social networking etc., The phones are available at prices ranged about Rs 12,500 and Rs 5,400.
