Idea expands 4G LTE services across Maharashtra, Goa

New Delhi: India’s third largest national mobile operator Idea Cellular has announced rapid expansion of the 4G LTE services in 390 towns across 32 districts of Maharashtra and Goa.

Idea has been the first and only service provider to offer 4G services in 300 of Maharashtra and Goa.

The 4G LTE service will now be available in the major towns of Amravati, Aurangabad, Gondia, Kohlapur, Alibagh, Wardha, Vasco and Panjim in addition to Nagpur and Ahmednagar where services were launched earlier this year.

“Idea is the oldest and largest mobile operator in Maharashtra and Goa. We have always been committed to grow our network in the region and offer the best mobile experience to the people in deep interiors of the circle,” said Chief Operating Officer Maharashtra and Goa Idea Cellular, Rajendra Chourasia.

“We now have the largest 2G, 3G and 4G network with over 24500 sites providing seamless mobile broadband experience across the length and breadth of Maharashtra and Goa,” added Chourasia.
