In the wake of use of bicycles in the recent Pune blasts, the district administration has ordered a ban on the two-wheelers’ sale in the absence of identification proof with immediate effect. Collector Sharma accepted the Superintendent of Police’s report in this regard. The order will remain in effect till October 20 and its violation will attract action against the bicycle dealer concerned under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code. UNI
