ICMR-Vector Control Research Centre Scholarship 2018-20 invites applications from students who are willing to pursue a postgraduate degree program in Public Health Entomology.
The key objective of the scholarship is to enable students to develop practical skills essential for operational programmes and to promote integrated vector management.

The scholarship is being offered by the Vector Control Research Centre of Indian Council of Medical Research, Department of Health Research, Government of India.
Who can apply for this scholarship:
Category 1 –
This is an open competition open for students, who have passed a university exam accepted by the Academic Council of Pondicherry University in following programs –
BSc in Life Sciences/Botany/Zoology/Microbiology/Medical Laboratory Technology/Ecology/Environmental Science/Biochemistry orMBBS, orBVSc, orBE/BTech degree in biotechnology.
Note: The students who are appearing for the final examinations or waiting for the results can also apply.
Category 2 A- The in-service candidates who are in government/non-government organization can apply for this scholarship under this category
They should also have passed the degree examination for courses mentioned in Category 1 from a recognized university accepted by the Academic Council of Pondicherry University.
Category 2 B- The foreign nationals can apply under this category who have passed the degree examination for courses mentioned in Category 1 or have obtained an equivalent certificate for Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.
Note: Their applications should be submitted through their employer or nominating/sponsoring authority/organization.

Step 2: Fill in all required details.
Step 3: Attach all required documents.
Step 4: Prepare a demand draft of INR 100 (INR 50 for SC/ST candidates) applicable towards the application fee, in the favour of “The Director, ICMR-Vector Control Research Centre”, payable at Puducherry.
Step 5: Send the duly filled application form along with all supporting documents through Registered/Speed post with envelope superscribed as –
