ICC World T20 Qualifiers: Malaysia chased the target in 10 balls to beat Myanmar

In one of the most astonishing matches in cricket history, Malaysia chased down a target of 10 runs in just 10 balls in an ICC World Twenty20 Asia region qualifier B at Kuala Lumpur, on Oct 9 2018. Malaysia won the match by eight wickets against Myanmar.

The hosts made a terrific start as Pavandeep began his four-over spell by trapping opener Lin Thu leg-before with the first ball of the innings before removing Ye Naing Tun two balls later. The Myanmar side was reduced to nine runs for the loss of eight wickets after 10.1 overs.

In response, Malaysia got off to a horrible start as medium pacer Paing Danu knocked out both the openers Anwar Arudin and Shafiq Sharif for a duck in the first over. Suhan Alagaratnam, however, sealed the match with a maximum, the only six of the match, in the 10th ball of the second innings, steering Malaysia to an 8-wicket win against Myanmar.
