Hyderabad: In day to day hearing of Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) Chandrayangutta MLA and Legislative Assembly floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi attack case, Tahsildar Mrs. Waheeda Khatoon recorded her statement on Tuesday. Defence lawyer G Guru Moorthy grilled her and hearing was postponed for today.
In the statement made in the court, the Tahsildar, Kulkacherla Mandal, Viqarabad Tahsildar told that on April 30, 2011 Chandrayangutta police had requested her to draw Inquest Panchnama of Ibrahim bin Younus Yafai on which she reached Osmania General Hospital mortuary and recorded statements of two witnesses Mirza Sarfaraz Baig, Mohammed Hamed and others. She told that she collected navy blue T shirt and other clothes worn by the deceased Ibrahim Yafai which were drenched in blood. She informed court that in her report she opined that the death occurred due to firing on which she confirmed that the deceased had two bullet marks on his body and also injury marks.
It must be recalled that Ibrahim Yafai was killed by the gun shots fired by Mohammed Jani, who was the bodyguard of Ahmed Balala. Awad Yafai brother of Ibrahim Yafai who himself sustained bullet injury, after getting bail, made a complain on 3rd September 2012 to the commissioner of police, DCP south zone and Chandrayangutta Police Station against Akbaruddin Owaisi and others for allegedly killing his brother.
