IAS couple Athar, Tina Dabi performs lungi dance

NEW DELHI: Indian Administrative Service (IAS) toppers of 2015 Tina Dabi and her husband Athar Aamir Ul Shafi Khan creating quite a lot of buzz on social media and the couple has once again grabbed the limelight.

Tina took to Instagram and posted a series of photos and videos of their cultural performance at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie to mark the culmination of their training programme.

In the videos, Tina is seen dancing on a romantic song with her husband Athar. The cultural programme included a group song ‘hum rahe ya na rahe per yaad aayenge ye pal,’ a group dance from ‘Behen Hogi Teri’ track ‘Jaanu Meri Jaan’

She also shared photos of the performance on a lungi dance to a Telugu song where Tina and Aamir wore the typical south Indian lungi paired with white shirts.

The video and photos went increasingly viral and have seen by thousands of people in a short time. Tina is follow by at least 1.5 lakh people on social media.

Tina is the first ever Dalit woman to top the UPSC exams. Aamir belongs to the restive south Kashmir area stood second in the civil service exams. Both have been allocated the Rajasthan cadre of the IAS.

Earlier in June, Tina and Athar flew to London to complete the final part of their IAS training before taking charge as civil servants.
