Shillong, March 06: An Indian Air Force sergeant”s wife allegedly committed suicide after killing her two minor daughters in the official quarter at Eastern Air Command here.
26-six-year-old Parveen Akhtar, wife of Sergeant Shamim Akhtar, hanged her two daughters Samita (5) and Sania (3) and later committed suicide yesterday, police said.
The trio was found dead when Sergeant Akhtar came home from office, the police said. No suicide note was found and police said post-mortem of the bodies could throw some light on the case.
