Hyderabad, June 28 (Siasat News): Islamic Academy for comparative religion condemns England and Canada entry ban on Dr. Zakir Naik.
England and Canada have unilaterally revoked visas granted to internationally respected Muslim Scholars like Dr Zakir Naik and Dr. Bilal Philips and imposed a ban on both of them. The timing of the ban is worth nothing that it came just one week before major programs in those two countries. These programs were heading to be the largest ever Islamic programs in the western world.
Of late it has been noted that the western countries are taking a very staunch anti Islamic stand in important matters. In a statement president IACR said that “we remember the blasphemy of cartoons of Prophet Mohammed PBUH which was started off by Denmark which was again started by just one country France and many other western countries followed them. Now the latest prohibition of Islamic Speakers is seen clearly as another major anti Islamic move.” He condemn the evil attitude of the western countries in general and the present ban in particular.
He further demanded that UK and Canada should immediately revoke their uncivilized ban on the two great speakers and apologize for the ill treatment.
The meeting attended by many prominent personalities including Maulana Safi Ahmed Madani and Br. Asifuddin.
