I won’t be CM ever as Naidu is fittest: Balayya

In the wake of news reports that TDP MLA from Hindupur and prominent Tollywood hero Nandamuri Balakrishna would step into the shoes of Nara Chandrababu Naidu if he was served with a notice by the ACB in connection with “Note-for-Vote” case, the former broke his silence here on Monday and said the question of anybody becoming chief minister does not arise as the TDP supremo was functioning efficiently as chief minister due to his vast administrative and political experience.
Speaking to mediapersons at a function at Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital & Research Institute here, Balakrishna, who is also brother-in-law of Chandrababu Naidu, said the TDP president was alone capable of steering the residual State towards monumental development and strive for welfare of the people. Naidu was very efficiently working as chief minister and party president, he added.
It may be mentioned here that when the “Cash- for-Vote” case surfaced, there were reports in a section of the media that Chandrababu Naidu would step down as chief minister owing to the grave charge against him and either Balakrishna or Ashok Gajapati Raju or Lokesh Naidu would take over the AP reigns.
Brushing aside the media speculation, Balakrsihna asserted that Chandrababu Naidu alone would be the CM for ever and he would always work under his leadership. Balakrishna also announced that he would soon establish a cancer hospital in Andhra Pradesh soon. (NSS)
