I will come out of jail in no time: Conwoman

Hyderabad, April 30: “Do whatever you like…. I will not talk to you because I have not done anything,”- was her defiant reply when Central Crime Station (CCS) sleuths tried to interrogate Suman Singh, the woman posing as a high-profile government officer.

Sources told Express that when the sleuths tried to corner Suman Singh by posing some ‘difficult’ questions about her activities, she reportedly said she had ‘connections’ with several important IAS and IPS officers and yelled at police. She was arrested on Wednesday for posing as an Officer-on-Special-Duty (OSD) to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Suman Singh had been allegedly cheating people by introducing herself as OSD to the Prime Minister.

She promised them to get their work done by using her so-called influence on senior IAS and IPS officers. Believing her words, a city realtor Khaleel gave her Rs 10 lakh to settle a land dispute in 2009. But he later realised he had been duped.

Police officials were taken aback when Suman Singh started yelling at them in English and Hindi.

“She did not cooperate with us during questioning. So, we had no other choice but send her to judicial remand,’’ a CCS official said.

She even threatened media photographers not to take her pictures. “Mera photo kyun le rahe ho? Acha nahi honga agar aap photo khinche toh,’’ was how she threatened mediamen on Wednesday.

It is learnt she also informed police that she will come out in no time as she had ‘links’ with senior IPS officers in the state.

Suman Singh had participated in several public functions as chief guest in her capacity as an OSD and even used a car which carried the national flag.
