Hyderabad: “I didn’t get a chance of meeting the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in the last four-and-a-half year’s regime. KCR is also not giving time to meet the opposition leaders in Pragathi Bhavan. KCR’s name will go to annals of the history as the Chief Minister didn’t attend Secretariat”, CLP Deputy Leader Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy stated.
Speaking to the media at Secretariat media point here on Wednesday, Ponguleti said that the rumors were spreading in the state that the Assembly would be dissolved on September 6th after the Cabinet meeting. If the rumors were true, what about Bayyaram Steel Factory and seven mandals merger in Andhra Pradesh, he asked. He said that the government has to file a petition in the Court and before that the Cabinet has to endorse it. The TRS government failed to merge the four villages of Bhadrachalam in Telangana state, he pointed out and asked the TRS MPs to raise the issue in Parliament at least.
He said that the officers were in a hurry carrying files. “We are asking the same for the last four years”, he said. The government identified 500 members whereas 1200 Telangana protagonists were died in the Telangana movement, he said. He demanded the state government to extend help to the 1969 Telangana protagonists.
