‘I am safe’: Jaganmohan Reddy after attack

Vishakhapatnam: YSRCP leader Jaganmohan Reddy was stabbed on his arm by an unidentified assailant at Vishakhapatnam Airport on Thursday.

Reddy is currently being treated at the Omega Hospital informed people that he safe and sound.

Reddy tweeted, “To everyone worried about my safety, I’d like to inform you that I am safe. God’s grace & love, concern & blessings of people of Andhra will protect me. Such cowardice acts will not dissuade me but only strengthen my resolve to work for the people of my state.”

Jagan Mohan received minor injury on his left arm and was given first aid at the airport.

The attacker, identified as Srinivas, employed at the airport canteen, said he was trying to click a selfie with Jagan Mohan Reddy. When the leader obliged, he pretended to take a picture and stabbed Jagan Reddy with a sharp object.
